Major Norwegian contract extension for Nautronix
Leading supplier of positioning, communications and survey services Nautronix of Aberdeen has been awarded a multi-million pound contract extension for continuing provision of survey services over the next three years to Ocean Installer, one of Norway’s leading subsea organisations operating three construction support vessels in the North Sea and elsewhere; Statoil and Saipem are among some of the Stavanger-based companys main clients.
With subsidiary offices in Brazil, Norway and the US, Nautronix claims a world leadership in the design and supply of advanced acoustic systems incorporating its acoustic digital spread spectrum (ADS) technology for underwater communications and positioning operations. Its fully-equipped survey services division is staffed by some 50 specialist personnel.
