Ports of Jersey multibeam upgrade
Following extensive trials of various systems Ports of Jersey in the Channel Islands has extended its survey capability with acquisition of an R2Sonic Sonic 2024 multibeam system and associated equipment delivered and installed aboard an existing pilot-survey vessel by Swathe Services of Truro, Cornwall. The multi-role vessel is designed to take into account a large 12-metre tidal range.
