Subsea and offshore wind contractor Havfram’s crane will be the 13th that Huisman has delivered since the beginning of 2021.

The fully electric crane will be outfitted with a 155m boom, and has a lifting height of 180 metres above deck.

It also features a small tail swing to offer more deck space.

”The crane of a Wind Turbine Installation Vessel is one of the most critical elements on board, and our main evaluation criteria were high performance, future proof solutions and lowest possible risk,” said Havfram Wind CEO Even Larsen.

The design is under way at Huisman’s facility in Schiedam, the Netherlands, and will be built at its production facility in China.
