Fugro expands with EOMAP takeover

This acquisition is a key element of Fugro’s strategy to expand its presence in the water market by integrating EO technology into its existing mapping solutions.

Established in 2006, EOMAP holds several patented algorithms and is well-positioned in the growing mapping market.

The partnership between Fugro and EOMAP has already proven successful in projects such as the ISPRA Seagrass Coastal Restoration initiative and the COASTS project.

Fugro says the acquisition will enhance its climate change mitigation efforts across the world, including ongoing projects in Italy, Europe and the Maldives.

EOMAP recorded a revenue of around €5 million in 2024.
