Interocean assurance for UK offshore windfarm projects

Interocean Marine Services has been awarded a three-year contract to deliver marine vetting and assurance for bp and EnBW’s offshore wind projects: Morgan, Mona and Morven.

During the realisation of the projects, Interocean will oversee marine safety and operational efficiency, ensuring seamless delivery of these large-scale wind projects.

Crucial developments

Located in the Irish Sea and North Sea, the three windfarms will eventually cover a combined area of 1,440 km² and generate up to 5.9GW of renewable energy, powering approximately six million UK homes annually.

These developments will play a crucial role in achieving the UK government’s offshore renewables target of 50GW capacity by 2030.

Interocean, with over two decades of experience in the offshore energy sector, specialises in complex maritime operations, including mooring installation, high-value cargo transport and walk-to-work solutions.
