Lalizas UK appoints new head of sales

Jack Sharland joined Lalizas UK in 2019 as sales manager, helping to establish the Lalizas brand in the UK. He will be responsible for all aspects of external and internal sales, including the management of the sales department.

He will concentrate on strengthening the sales team, as well as growing their business and presence within the UK marine safety market.

Charlie Mill, managing director at Lalizas UK said it was a huge achievement to reach head of sales so quickly. “I have had the privilege of working with Jack for over eight years,” he said, “and during that period, have seen him develop and grow, both as an individual and in the roles he has undertaken.”

Sharland has spent the past 13 years in the marine industry, having previously worked for Piplers of Poole and Ocean Safety. This promotion signals a new phase for Lalizas UK, following significant investment to assist the company’s UK growth strategy.

“This is an exciting time to be a part of Lalizas and I’m very pleased to be given this opportunity to develop further what we have already achieved within the UK,” said Jack Sharland.
