Mission equipment ordered for Asian CSOV

SMST will supply an access and cargo tower with motion-compensated gangway, a telescopic access bridge L-series and a 5t 3D motion-compensated crane, which will all be incorporated within the design of the CSOV.

The vessel will be used in the construction of offshore wind farms around Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, SMST said.

Developed by Singapore-based marine logistics company Marco Polo Marine and Seatech Solutions International, the CSOV is 83 metres in length and should enter the market in the first quarter of 2024.

Once completed, she will be deployed for three years and operated by PKR Offshore, a subsidiary of Marco Polo Marine.
