Shearwater Law appoints Maritime director

He joins after a 6.5-year term at marine insurance giant NorthStandard, where he worked his way up to become deputy global head of P&I Claims and head of Legal & Expertise.

Before that, Richards worked for 12 years at Ince & Co, the international commercial shipping law firm that collapsed in 2023.
