Atlantas Marine Kit-Out SeaStar
SeaStar Surveys of Southampton UK have purchased a complete range of hydrographic survey equipment from Atlantas Marine Ltd for use on their survey boat Mariner as well as other vessels of opportunity.
Games organisers approached Gosport UK based Crewsaver with a request for more than the usual marker buoys, spending some £30,000 to acquire the biggest inflatable buoys Crewsaver has ever manufactured.
Included in the package is the Marimatech ‘E-Sea Sound 206C’ dual frequency echosounder, complete with colour screen, paper trace and built-in Zip drive to back up the survey data collected. The E-Sea Sound was supplied with a Marimatech HMS 1820 CTD Probe, which can be used in stand-alone mode (logging data internally) or it can be connected to the E-Sea Sound, which displays the CTD profile.
A TSS CMS-25 heave sensor completed the package to provide precise vessel heave compensation.
