MBO at Certex
UK lifting gear distributor Certex has been bought out by its existing directors and will be run as a private limited company.
John Martin Construction Limited will be main contractor for £5.5 million project which is expected to get underway after the Easter break. This will be the second lifeboat house and slipway built specifically to house and launch the Tamar, following Tenby in Wales.
Previously part of Bridon International , a subsidiary within the Lifting and Services division of FKI Plc , Certex was sold on for £5.2 million. The company’s operational areas include the offshore oil and gas and shipping industries.
