French offshore renewables on show
The Seanergy event, described by its organisers as a Professional International Convention promoting Marine Renewable Energy, now in its second year, will take place in the Carré des Docks of Le Havre – Normandy, on 22nd and 23rd March.
As a unifying event of the booming MRE market, Seanergy Normandy 2017 will welcome more than 250 exhibitors and 3500 visitors from more than 15 countries.
Building on its first edition in Biarritz in June 2016, Seanergy is coming back, in Le Havre, pioneering territory of the MRE, for a week dedicated to the Marine Renewable Energy.
Supported by the Normandy Region, Le Havre agglomeration Community (CODAH), Le Havre City Town Hall, Le Havre Port Authority, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Seine Estuaire, and the ONEM (West and Normandy Marine Energy), Seanergy Normandy 2017 will be articulated around various spaces and highlights, including:
- A two-day exhibition, gathering 250 exhibitors from around the world in a hall of over 6 000 m2.
- The 4th edition of the MRE’s national forum (Assises Nationales) by the Renewable Energy Federation on Wednesday 22nd March (AM).
- The first annual science and technology symposium for France Energies Marines collaborative projects.
- Seanergy Normandy participants will also be able to visit the MRE sites of the region, on Friday 24th March, upon prior registration.
The visitors at Seanergy Normandy 2017 will also have the opportunity to discover various oceanographic research vessels moored in the Paul Vatine marina, located in front of the Carré des Docks Le Havre Normandie.
