Barrow to Get 400-berth Marina
Barrow-in-Furness in the northwest of the UK is to have a 400-berth marina built as part of a wide-ranging £ 40 million plan to regenerate the town. If the project as a whole goes ahead as planned, it should create many jobs and bring hundreds of acres of dockland back to life, says the agent for Cumbria County Council leading the project, West Lakes Renaissance.
