Hydraulic experts
Established by a small team with a great deal of experience in the hydraulics industry, UK-based Hercules Hydraulics has exhibited at Mercator Media’s Seawork International show every year since the company’s inception in 2004.
Over the years the company have developed a particular expertise in the workboat sector and claims to have supplied both systems and products to most of the major workboat builders, including AMC. Indeed, Hercules Hydraulics has just completed its latest project with the design, installation and commissioning of a complex hydraulic system for the new AMC built windfarm support vessel for Turbine Transfers. Having to integrate steering into the system provided a challenge for the Hercules team, but everything operated exactly as planned during both harbour and sea trials.
Hercules Hydraulics’ product range includes lightweight aluminium DNV type approved anchor winches, electro-magnetic clutches, hydraulic bow thrusters, fire fighting pumps, fuel transfer systems and pressure washers all either self manufactured at their premises in the UK or sourced from leading suppliers such as Desmi, MP Filtri, Sunfab, and Stauff.
The company was also recently appointed as sole build partner in England and Wales for AMCA fully proportional load sensing control valves, which have uses in marine and many other hydraulic applications.
The company has reported increasing levels of success at Seawork International. Hence it will once again be returning in June 2015, when the full range of Hercules Hydraulics products will be exhibited on stand A81.
