Hydrosphere to light up Seawork
The VLB-2, Hydrospheres newest addition to the companys navigation light range, will be on stand A77 at Seawork 2013.
Providing up to 2NM performance at 0.74T, the VLB-2, which is available with optional GPS synchronisation, is a high capacity LED marine light specifically designed for use in high latitude applications.
The light comprises four solar panels, battery, battery housing, regulator, electronic controls and light source in a single, self-contained package. Its compact design allows it to be easily fitted on to fixed structures, as well as a range of navigation buoys.

We’ve always received a lot of interest in our navigation lights at Seawork and we’re particularly excited for 2013 with the recent launch of the rental side of the business – Hydrosphere Rentals Ltd – which offers our customers the option to rent many of our products, including the VLB-2.”
The light is available with 246 flash characters and in five colours, all of which comply with IALA chromaticity requirements. Energy efficiency optics coupled with a 9Ah or 18AH battery capacity significantly increases the energy efficiency of the light, giving it a design life of up to 12 years.
