Making savings through safety
Andy Ash-Vie, Managing Director of Harken Industrial UK Ltd, will be addressing delegates at Seawork International’s conference at 14.00 on 16 June 2015. Andy will be sharing insights into how marine and offshore companies can improve safety, efficiency and save money with today’s powerful and ergonomic lifting and pulling solutions.
Accidents and workplace injuries are a significant cost to businesses. Fatigue is implicated in 20% of work place accidents, and in just one year an estimated £12.3 million worth of working days are lost due to work-related injury.
Using a range of scenarios Ash-Vie will explain how applying new innovations through ergonomics, and the latest in rope technology, can make working practices safer and more efficient for operators, resulting in reduced costs for business.
Visitors will also be able to see the latest two additions to Harken Industrial’s innovative range of rugged load management equipment, the Lokhead winch and the TR31 fall restraint and arrestor.
