Meercat opens with 7-figure order

Seawork International exhibitor Meercat (stand A126) opened this years show with confirmation for an 18m multi-purpose Meercat, which retains its road transportable capability.

Meercat has already sold an 18m multi-purpose vessel

The vessel, the first to be class approved with Bureau Veritas, is scheduled for delivery in June 2015 and it is anticipated that the vessel will feature at Seawork next year.

Doosan main engines have been specified from fellow exhibitor Watermota; the crane is an Iron Fist 65 tonne/metre capacity, for which Meercat is the UK agent.
