The marine diesel engine and generator distributor, which launched its new TCAE engine model at last year’s Seawork, has increased its range of JCB Dieselmax marine diesel engines, taking its total to 11 models ranging from 55kW/74hp to 120kW/160hp.

Mermaid is also boosting its offering with a range of FNM in-board diesel engines, for which it has just become the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor.

Julian Osborne, sales executive, Mermaid Marine, told Maritime Journal: “As well has having an FNM engine on show we are also keen to have an AGCO Power (SISU) engine as well. Like the FNM range we are also sole UK distributors for this brand, and believe as these engines are primarily suited for heavy commercial use, like workboats and ferries. Seawork would be the perfect place to display this brand.”

“Like previous shows we hope to continue to get some great footfall on the stand, meet some of our existing customers as well as generate some new leads and sales for our engine range,” he added.

FNM has two engine ranges – its ATM mechanical range from 60bhp to 135bhp and its HPE electronic range from 75bhp to 300bhp.

The JCB Dieselmax range features the latest technology to provide high torque at low engine speeds with reduced fuel consumption and emissions.
