MGDuff reacts to customer demand
At Seawork 2013, UK marine cathodic protection expert, MGDuff, will present its very latest range of anode and Zinga products for cathodic protection of metals in all marine-related applications.
Emphasis at Seawork 2012 was focused on aluminium hulls and there was no shortage of visitors involved in building or operating these vessels. An aluminium hull section, mounted with various anode options, created great interest.
A stark reminder of what can go wrong when corrosion protection is not addressed correctly was graphically displayed by the MGDuff ‘horrors pole’ – a montage of severely corroded propellers, shafts and stern drives. Chris Harris, sales manager, MGDuff, commented: “We have significantly increased our product range to cater for the variety of hulls and propulsion packages now in service and visitors will be able to see the whole collection on our stand at Seawork 2013.”
Also on display this year will be MGDuff’s Zinga Cold Applied galvanizing system, which was extensively used to refurbish London Duck Tour’s DUKW amphibians, extending the life of these quirky WWII veterans.
MGDuff will be on stand A169.
