New hybrid vessel meets pollution standards

Launched at Seawork 2019, Chasewell features twin Volvo D3-220 engines offering 147kW at 3800RPM and twin ZF63A ZF marine gearboxes. It also includes a twin Hamilton HJ2411 waterjet, twin transfluid HM560, and a twin EM220-20 electric motor.

WSC is known for its environmentally friendly builds in the ferry sector including Red Funnel’s Red Jet 6 & 7, two MBNA Thames Clippers, along with multiple ferry deliveries for export worldwide.

Currently the new Arksen Hybrid Explorer yacht is in-build with high spec technology and progressive solutions to meet future environmental requirements and goals.
