Record breaking ferry shipment
Peters & May Commercial has been involved in one of its biggest challenges to date transporting a 52m fast ferry 14,700 miles from the South Pacific to Greece.
The Austal Alu Cat fast-ferry’s 170ft length, broad width and 236 tonne weight made the craft one of the largest that Peters & May has ever shipped.
Custom cradling and lifting gear were designed by the Peters & May team specifically for the job, to get the craft ready for safe shipment across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
