Seaglaze gains strong following at Seawork
Marine windows, doors and hatches manufacturer Seaglaze enjoyed a very successful show at Seawork, culminating in strong leads from the UK and elsewhere in Europe as well as the launch of two new products.
As well as presenting examples of its well established range, Seaglaze launched the Hidden Frame window section and a new Pantograph Door as well as showing the recently launched Hidden Dog door. The display was a great demonstration of the company’s ability to innovate new products and also showed it understands the demands of an ever evolving commercial marine industry.
The Hidden Frame window concept has been designed by Seaglaze to bridge the gap between the robust quality of a framed window and the pleasing aesthetics of direct bond glass. The glass is bonded to an inner frame which can be fitted much the same as a framed window. However, on the outside of the craft the look is no different to direct bond. The other benefits are that it is easier to install, easier to trim on the inside, and far easier to remove and replace should glass become damaged in the tough environments where commercial workboats operate.
The new Pantograph hinge has been re-designed to give a smoother movement to the door whilst taking up a limited amount of space. The single hinge unit can support the weight of the largest of doors, meaning they can be fitted into the tightest of deck space.
Much like the Hidden Frame window section, Seaglaze also generated a great deal of interest in the Hidden Dog door. This allows the robust Seaglaze doors to have the dogs internal to the door, thus giving a contemporary yacht-type finish.
Seaglaze regard the Seawork show as one of the key events in its calendar as the company established themselves as a leading supplier to the commercial marine sector in the UK. Several new customers visited the Seaglaze stand, having seen existing Seaglaze products on the majority of the larger craft out on the Seawork pontoon. Over the next 12 months Seaglaze will be launching further new products as well as continuing to provide an unrivalled service to the commercial marine industry.
