Seawork Innovations Showcase

This year’s Seawork Innovations Showcase is now open for entries. The winners will be announced on Tuesday 10th June at the Mayflower Terminal, Port of Southampton.

Last year, Filtertechnik won the overall 'Spirit of Innovation' Award for its Particle Pal

Free to enter, the showcase gives exhibitors the chance to introduce and promote new products. All entries are displayed in a dedicated area throughout the two-day exhibition and listed in the exhibition catalogue.

Now in their twelfth year, the Awards have proved helpful for past winners, including Filtertechnik, which won the Spirit of Innovation trophy in 2013 for its Particle Pal, a self-contained, battery operated field kit that passes oil or fuel through a laser particle counter.

Richard Price, managing director of Filtertechnik said winning the award “has resulted in numerous enquiries from the UK and overseas”.

Another previous winner, Servowatch Systems, which won the inaugural Innovations Showcase in 2003 for its Systems Integrated Management System (SIMS), also said the Award “lifted” and “underpinned” its product, “leading to increased market opportunity and subsequent business”.

The Awards are open to all companies with new products introduced to the market in the 12 months leading up to the exhibition.

The entry form is included in the Exhibitor Manual. The deadline for entries is 12 May 2014.

Mercator Media Ltd’s Seawork Exhibition will take place from 10 to 12 June 2014 at ABP’s Port of Southampton.
