Seawork success for Centek
US based Centek Industries, enjoyed a successful Seawork 2013, receiving “a lot of interest in our systems and designs” from both new and existing customers.
The custom marine exhaust systems manufacturer offers complete systems for a range of vessels, including offshore workboats and military and law enforcement vessels, in conjunction with Manuflex Ltd.
Bill Arwood, vice president of sales and marketing, Centek Industries, told Maritime Journal: “The Seawork show was a huge success in many ways. We have a great partnership with Manuflex as well as ASAP Supplies and the Seawork show gave us an opportunity to meet many of their customers.”
“It also gave us a chance to meet face to face with customers that we have worked with over the years but have never met in person. This goes a long way toward strengthening our relationships and gives us a much better insight into their needs and how we can help,” he added.
As a result of Centek’s attendance at Seawork, it told MJ it has secured several contracts for up-coming builds, some of them multi vessel projects, but it’s too early to “name names”.
