Steelcraft spins its story at Seawork
Finland-based Steelcraft Propellers is exhibiting at Mercator Media Ltds Seawork Exhibition this year, where it will showcase a range of its bespoke propellers.
Steelcraft Propellers for pilot boats, oil spill response vessels, fishing and other workboats are generally found on vessels 30-70ft in length, equipped with inboard engines.
The propellers are fabricated from stainless Duplex steel and are designed and manufactured to meet the criteria of the customer’s vessel and its use, accommodating the exact features of the vessel’s design.
Every Steelcraft Propeller is handmade for a specific vessel and, by optimising the propeller to fit the engine and gearbox, Steelcraft says it takes advantage of the full capacity of the boat’s engine.
Steelcraft Propellers hub sizes are customised to match strut barrel diameters, drive shaft diameters, and shaft taper length.
