Telemar (UK) Ltd supports Seawork

Telemar (UK) Ltd is exhibiting at Seawork for the first time to demonstrate its support for the marine industry and show the important role navigation and communications play in keeping vessels safe and making them efficient.

Communications at the heart of every ship

For Telemar (UK) Ltd the ship’s bridge and workboat’s wheelhouse is at the heart of every vessel. They all depend, for operational efficiency and safety, on vital information delivered by sophisticated systems.

The wheelhouse, with its navigational and communications systems, is where Telemar’s specialist interest and support services start. But they do not end there. Telemar (UK) Ltd does not just supply the right equipment. It consults, advises, installs and commissions equipment and systems to meet legislative requirements and particular vessel’s specific operational needs.

The company provides its total and wholehearted support, with a comprehensive range of worldwide services. From the ship’s bridge to the workboat’s wheelhouse it offers a wide range of services from specification and installation, as well as maintenance and repair.

These services have been developed over many years and are designed to meet industry standards and, more importantly, customer needs. Telemar’s experience and expertise, as well as up to date knowledge is aimed at ensuring that equipment is fit for purpose and delivers excellent performance day-in, day-out.

As Sally Dale, Telemar (UK) business development manager, said: “Though we have been involved with Seawork, as sponsors in 2013, this is the first time we have exhibited. It is a very important part of our business development, as we create a UK wide network of Sales & Service centres.”

“The first centres, Aberdeen and Grangemouth, were opened a few years ago, with others to follow in a long term development plan, but already we are able to offer comprehensive services at all key ports in the UK,” she added.
