ZF Services UK at Seawork 2013

ZF Marine manufactures a range of single and two speed transmissions with ZF control systems to match, as well as a variety of azimuth thrusters, for tugs, windfarm support vessels, fish farm vessels, OSVs, other workboats, patrol craft and pleasure craft.

Products on show at this year’s event, which takes place from 25 to 27 June 2013 in Southampton, will include the ZF 3060IV and the company’s V-drive, remote mount marine transmission, ZF 3060V, which is suitable for fast patrol vessels and crew boats and is compatible with all kinds of engines and propulsion systems.

The three shaft reverse reduction transmission features a hydraulic clutch mounted on the input shaft and an additional one on the reverse shaft and has been designed to take maximum propeller thrust astern and ahead.

Also on show will be the ZF 9000 ClearCommand electric control system, which incorporates the ZF MicroCommander and ClearCommand systems, as well as the down angle, direct mount marine transmission, ZF360A, which features hydraulically actuated multi disc clutches.
