Another Combifloat jack-up for Ocean Crest Marine

Ocean Crest Marine has announced the addition of the Admiral 1 jack-up barge to its fleet.

Admiral 1 is a Combifloat Systems B.V. 400t C7 unit, measuring 30m x 18m with 36m legs. She will complement the Irish company’s existing (identical) C7 jack-up barge OCM 400 and smaller C5 jack-up barges, bringing the number of jack-ups to six.

Ocean Crest Marine is headquartered in the Port of Galway with additional yards throughout the UK and Ireland.

The company’s expertise lies in providing a diverse range of equipment to the marine sector. OCM provides jack-up barges, spud barges and supporting workboats, which are utilized in various marine projects such as Marine Geotechnical Investigation, Cable repair, port construction, and marine survey.
