Tuco Marine delivers research workboat to Norway

After rigorous testing at Tuco Marine’s ProZero Workboats facility, the research vessel was officially handed over to Skipper Morten Krogstad.

Its durable, high-quality composite construction complies with strict marine regulations, ensuring reliability in challenging environments.

The workboat’s advanced equipment, including winches and cranes, enables effective water sampling, seabed analysis and hydrographic survey operations essential for marine science programmes.

This vessel is part of Nord University’s strategic investment in expanding its marine infrastructure.

Alongside the forthcoming “Blått bygg” campus and a newly commissioned coastal research vessel, the ProZero workboat will play a vital role in training students and conducting high-level marine research.

The vessel’s spacious layout and functional design allow for flexible research workflows, supporting the university’s mission to lead in marine and fisheries science from its Bodø campus.
