A strengthened fleet for offshore wind

Designed for offshore renewables, they can carry 24 technicians, offering enhanced safety, comfort and performance across key offshore wind markets in France, the UK, Poland, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

High standard

The two new 27-metre aluminium catamarans were built at Strategic Marine’s Singapore yard. 

Strategic Marine CEO Chan Eng Yew added that this successful vessel build highlights the ongoing innovation and quality in offshore wind operations, noting that this is the second pair of CTVs delivered to LDA in the past two years.

The newly delivered vessels, sister ships to Acti’Vent and Esti’Vent, will be deployed in the growing offshore wind sector in France and Europe.

The delivery strengthens both companies’ positions in supporting the global shift to clean energy, accelerating offshore wind infrastructure development and reinforcing their roles in the energy transition.

Louis Dreyfus Armateurs previously placed an order with Strategic Marine for two new CTVs in July 2024.
