Cadeler moves further into the Polish offshore market

The contract is the first between the parties with a potential value anticipated to fall within the range of €110 to 130 million.

Windfarm expertise

The Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects are windfarms situated in the Baltic Sea, approximately 27 and 40 km from the port of Łeba, respectively.

The projects entail the installation of 100 offshore wind turbine generators (WTGs) in the Polish Baltic Sea.

Cadeler will utilise both an O-Class and a P-Class vessel on the projects, demonstrating the company’s fleet depth, flexibility and ability to adapt to client needs.

Once operational, these windfarms are projected to generate a combined capacity of 1440 MW, providing electricity to over two million households.

WTG installation is set to begin in 2027. 

Cadeler first entered the Polish market back in July 2023.

It entered into a contract with Baltic Power for the installation of 76 Vestas 15MW offshore wind turbines in the Polish Baltic Sea with a contract value of between €68 to 85 million.
