Fast crew boats strengthen offshore reach

The delivery of the 42-metre Gen 4 vessels strengthens Strategic Marine’s regional footprint and showcases its expertise in vessel build and design for demanding offshore renewables and energy markets.

Future-proofed

NMDC LTS, which specialises in marine and offshore services in the Middle East, is a new customer for Strategic Marine.

The vessels, developed in collaboration with Southerly Designs, feature Strategic Marine’s proven hull platform engineered for fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and enhanced seakeeping.

Each fast crew boat is equipped with an advanced Gyro Stabilizer system to deliver superior roll reduction, boosting safety and comfort during crew transfers in challenging conditions, an increasingly vital requirement for offshore renewables and marine services.

The two vessels can carry up to 80 personnel in ergonomic seating and are equipped reinforced cargo decks to support a wide range of offshore operations.

With future-proofing at the core of their design, the vessels are also prepared for hybrid upgrades and integration of walk-to-work or motion-compensated gangway systems to meet evolving offshore requirements.
