Finning tips for navigating emissions regulations

The world’s largest dealer of Cat equipment and parts wants to help customers meet challenges including IMO Tier III emissions regulations, the upcoming Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) and the potential lowering of the UK Emissions Trading Scheme threshold.

Targeting emissions

Finning will display the Cat C32 propulsion engine at the event, which can be retrofitted to meet IMO Tier III legislation, alongside Cat marine generator sets including the C4.4 and C2.2 models.

These offerings demonstrate the range of solutions Finning can provide to help commercial vessel operators reduce emissions and comply with regulations.

Finning will be on-hand at stand Q62 to discuss how retrofitting engines can help achieve compliance and address other key industry challenges such as demand for alternative fuels, hybrid propulsion and costs.
