Adding a Service Operations Vessel to its fleet is a new move for N-O-S, which says it is entering ‘a new segment’ with Mistral Enabler, which it will rename Northern Ocean.

The 81m-long vessel was designed by Rolls-Royce and built by Astilleros Gondán, using Rolls-Royce azimuth thrusters.

“Adding this SOV to our fleet enhances our ability to support offshore operations and strengthens our commitment to deliver reliable, high-performing, and efficient solutions to the offshore wind industry,” said David Kristensson, CEO of Northern Offshore Group.

“We’re entering a new segment, but with our previous SOV experience, we’re confident in our ability to support our operations. This vessel will significantly improve comfort and work efficiency for our crew and customers.”
