Strategic Marine delivers Supa Swath duo signed at Seawork

The delivery represents a key milestone in the multi-vessel agreement, which also includes options for a further six units. It follows the earlier 2024 collaboration that saw vessels MO10 and MO11 enter service as part of Mainprize Offshore’s growing fleet supporting offshore wind operations across Europe.

“The delivery of the first two Supa Swath vessels under this programme is an important step in our fleet expansion,” said Bob Mainprize, managing director of Mainprize Offshore.

“Strategic Marine was selected for these builds due to their consistently high-quality construction and fit-out, which has proven to deliver reliable workhorses for demanding offshore operations.

“These vessels demonstrate the performance and capability we require to support offshore renewables activities, and we are pleased to see the successful progression of the programme following our contract signing at Seawork.”

The Supa Swath vessels are based on a next-generation design by Walker Marine Design, engineered to provide enhanced stability and efficiency in challenging offshore environments.

The design incorporates advanced propulsion systems to improve fuel efficiency, along with modern navigation and communications technologies aimed at supporting safe and effective offshore renewables operations.
