Tidal Transit expands into South Korea’s offshore wind market

The MoU will see Tidal Transit work alongside Britoil Offshore Services and Sky Offshore to provide high-quality offshore shore vessels designed to support South Korea’s growing windfarms.

Grand ambitions

With South Korea aiming to reach 14.3 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind capacity by 2030, the partnership aligns with the country’s ambitious renewable energy targets.

The Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) is spearheading initiatives to accelerate offshore renewables and strengthen national clean energy infrastructure.

This strategic collaboration helps position Tidal Transit, Britoil Offshore Services and Sky Offshore as key players in the Asia-Pacific offshore renewables market.
