Tidal Transit eyes Asian offshore growth

The UK-based company, a leading operator of purpose-designed CTVs, will visit Busan this month to strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities in the Asian market.

The trip follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korean marine and offshore specialist Sky Offshore to collaborate on offshore support vessel projects, vessel build initiatives and future tenders.

Burgeoning market

Alongside fellow MoU signatory Sky Offshore, Tidal Transit will also meet with prospective offshore wind developers, shipyards and maritime technology suppliers during the visit.

Following Busan, the team intends to visit Singapore to meet Penguin International, the shipbuilder behind some of the latest additions to Tidal Transit’s fleet of efficient, multi-purpose CTVs – Arabella Jane, Imogen Rose and Anthea Luna.

The shipbuilder forms a key pillar of the company’s long-term growth ambitions in Asia.
