TideWise’s USV wins key autonomy approval nod

The AiP confirms the vessel’s compliance with structural, stability and control system standards, ensuring its readiness for harsh maritime environments.

Autonomous expertise

The Brazilian company’s USV is designed for offshore subsea inspection at depths of up to 2,500 metres.

Featuring advanced autonomous navigation, obstacle detection and collision avoidance, the vessel’s overall aim is to enhance safety and efficiency.

Powered by a hybrid diesel-electric system with future hydrogen potential, the vessel can significantly reduces carbon emissions, and meets the demand for sustainable solutions in offshore operations.

With an endurance of 35 days and DP2 capability, the USV can deploy a work-class electric ROV, reducing operational downtime and costs.
