New vessel management services
Vessel management services aimed at improving performance are now available to the commercial marine industry.
Headquartered in Newcastle, UK, Nautical Management Services (NMS) already provides superyacht services and now aims to diversify into other maritime sectors including CTV and maintenance vessels.
Speaking about the expansion, business development director, Stephen Birt, said: "The intention and desire of NMS is to offer this high level of professional service to other sectors in commercial shipping, and for me this is a really compelling value proposition for each of the sectors we are targeting, which include expedition cruises, passenger ferries, and passenger and industrial personal carrying CTVs and SOVs in the renewables market.‘’
NMS’ services include technical management, crew management, commercial management, CAPEX period project management, new build and LIFEX project management, flag state surveys, independent investigations and vessel audits, and ship and yacht delivery.
The services are based on improved performance with safety, reliability and capability at the forefront of all operations, said NMS. These services are designed to drive increased uptime, providing simple, transparent and effective solutions to the everyday management of vessels in the commercial maritime market.
