Mustang Survival acquired
The Wing Group, a manufacturer of inflatable sponsons, small combat craft, whitewater rafting solutions, life rafts, and marine doors and windows, has acquired Mustang Survival and its related entities, Mustang Survival ULC and Mustang Survival Holdings, Inc.
Mustang Survival describes itself as the North American market leader in lifesaving equipment for recreational, military, law enforcement and industrial users in the marine, industrial and aviation industries. For more than 50 years, the Canada – headquartered company has been manufacturing practical lifesaving products such as inflatable personal flotation devices, flotation clothing, dry suits, anti-g suits and a wide range of products to protect serious users in extreme environments.
“The Wing Group is extremely excited to bring together two companies that are both solutions oriented, and who have quality and performance at the core of their business,” said Andrew Branagh, President of The Wing Group.
“Mustang Survival has a rich and authentic brand story that resonates with our end users. They deliver confidence to users who operate in the harshest marine environments and this merger presents a unique and strategic growth opportunity for our company, especially as we aim to deepen our suite of marine and over-water aviation products here in North America and around the world.”
Mustang Survival General Manager Jason Leggatt will be promoted to president of Mustang Survival.
