Peters & May headline sponsor for Seawork
International boat transporter, Peters & May has been named as a headline sponsor for this years’ Seawork International exhibition.
The company will sponsor the event’s conference centre which will take place on-board MV Ocean Scene. It will also be exhibiting at the event itself which takes place at the ABP Port of Southampton from 16 to 18 June.
Robert Blades, Peters & May, said: “Seawork is now a must-attend event for our industry and we’re extremely proud to be involved in such a high profile way. The conference programme is packed full of interesting speakers and topics – attendees are sure to come away feeling up to date with the latest industry news and inspired by lots of new ideas.”
Seawork’s conference this year will include a wide range of speakers from across the industry including representatives from the UK Ministry of Defence, the Maritime & Coastguard Agency and the National Oceanography Centre. Topics will be as diverse as hybrid systems for small craft and flood and spill defence.
Conveniently located within the outdoor exhibition area, visitors will easily be able to visit the various exhibition halls and pontoons between conference sessions.
Peters & May was recently named Official Logistics Supplier for 2015 Transatlantic Race and Official Freight Forwarder for Qatar International Boat Show.
The firm recently shipped a patrol boat built in Croatia over to Gibraltar to go into operations for the Royal Gibraltar Police Force. It also recently shipped the largest hovercraft built by Griffon Hoverwork in the UK since the 1970s from Southampton UK to South Korea.
