The 25th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Speed@Seawork on Monday 10 June in Cowes offers a sector specific event that showcases fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and Search & Rescue. Saildrone unveils latest vessel at Oceanology
A leaner, shorter design of survey vessel by Saildrone was unveiled in London at the recent Oceanology expo.
With a keel and bulb fabricated out of one piece of aluminium – which Saildrone believes to be the largest single chunk of the metal cut in the world – the Surveyor-class unmanned surface vehicle is 20 metres in length, a reduction of two metres from the previous version, Voyager.
