Survitec announces new contracts totalling £5.8m
UK-headquartered safety and survival company Survitec, has announced the signing of new contracts for its Marine business, with a total value in the region of £5.8m. These contracts fall in line with the Group’s continued organic growth strategy.
The group has extended its ESR contract with Spliethoff Group, the Amsterdam-based shipping company, from five to 10 years. The new contract expires in 2027 and will be for 66 vessels. It replaces the existing Liferaft Hire contract, which covered 45 vessels. The contract includes six newly built vessels that will be delivered in 2018.
A two-year contract for Survitec’s ‘Safety Service 360’, including Fire Fighting and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has also been signed with Hamburg-based ship management company Peter Döhle Schiffarhrts KG in cooperation with Hammonia Reederei. The new contract covers around 150 vessels, up from 134 in the old contract, and there is potential for the contract to be further expanded.
