Technical Flying Squad
Seawork exhibitor AMI Marine has recently publicised its ‘Technical Flying Squad’, a specially selected group of engineers, who respond to emergencies, logistics issues and time dependant service work.
They will be mobilized within hours of receiving a call at AMI HQ in Southampton and claim to be able to ‘attend to unique requirements’.
The company carries documentation, parts and replacement products for emergencies, keeping vessels and operations on track.
AMI can arrange for the replacement of the smallest of batteries through to all bridge and navigation systems such as VDR, docking systems, ECDIS and much more.
AMI’s vigorous screening process means that the ‘Technical Flying Squad’ will only consist of the best and most reliable engineers. AMI’s team of in-house engineers are ready to fly anywhere in the world.
