UK renewable progress ‘unacceptably slow’

Edinburgh based Pelamis Wave Power (formerly Ocean Power Delivery) had three of its wave energy converters feeding power into the Portuguese national grid until earlier this year.

A recent report in the UK has said that the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) will miss its target to supply 10% of electricity from renewable energy sources by the end of 2012.
