RenewableUK 2015 brings together the UK’s wind energy industry to the ACC Exhibition Centre in the vibrant city of Liverpool from 6 – 8 October 2015, to celebrate another year of success, innovation, collaboration and - most importantly - resilience.

This flagship event represents the latest in onshore and offshore wind and small and medium wind systems, with a power-packed conference and buzzing exhibition, embodying an optimistic industry eager for the opportunity to deliver the new low carbon generation the UK badly needs.

LESSONS LEARNED AND LOOKING AHEAD
RenewableUK 2015 promises a stimulating conference ranging from top-level debates featuring highly-respected industry leaders to in-depth, sector-based, technical sessions led by experts at the sharp end of the industry. There’s something for everyone with a carefully constructed programme covering the challenges of obtaining consent, the 2015 Feed-in Tariff review, taking leasing forward, investor and business relationships, access to funding, cost-reduction and global market opportunities.

The hugely popular Share Fair will kick-off the event, delegates will hear directly from developers and top tier suppliers about their procurement plans for forthcoming major projects.

Aside from the main conference, delegates enjoy a host of free industry side events and special features including a Networking Hub, allows them to book 1-on-1 meetings using an exclusive online tool; the Speakers’ Spotlight at the centre of the exhibition allows delegates the chance to present to the industry on a variety of different topics; A Media Zone where they can pick up the latest industry reports and journals for free; and much more.

Lastly, there will be several key reports and updates published at RenewableUK 2015 particularly the much awaited State of the Industry 2015 report. Delegates receive free summaries of these reports in addition to being able to consult directly with the authors at the event.

OFFSHORE FOCUS
Several sessions at this year’s conference focus on offshore wind; from high-level discussion of leasing and development models across Europe, to a targeted look at risk management practices and how they can help to reduce CAPEX. In addition, any company involved in offshore wind will benefit from learning the latest lessons learnt during the construction phase – directly from developers and contractors themselves. Finally, we have a session dedicated solely to discovering the latest innovations in offshore wind – come along and find out about the long-term future of our technology!
