$200m vessel ordered to help kickstart Japan’s OSW

A new cable-laying vessel by Vard will be designed and built specifically for Japanese waters as the country’s fledgling OSW industry begins to grow.

The self-propelled vessel will be suitable for multi-purpose applications such as ground-based foundation work, floating offshore wind mooring work, and other marine projects.
