Aircat’s new CTV design promises speed, comfort and fuel savings. Stevie Knights has a look at how this can all be achieved.

It’s not the only CTV innovation getting under way, but it’s likely to remain a strong contender. For example, Aircat’s modelling suggests these SES designs will also give a foiling boat a run for its money as the foils present a sharp resistance at lower speeds before take-off – and according to Aircat, the SES appears to retain the advantage even at a faster pace, though this will certainly be subject to scrutiny during any future trials.
