Creating new standards in maritime autonomy

Saronic and Lloyd’s Register have partnered up to accelerate safe maritime autonomy deployment across the UK, Europe and Australia through new standards and offshore compliance frameworks.

The partnership aims to combine expertise in autonomous vessels and maritime certification to support the commercial rollout of maritime autonomy. The collaboration will focus on advancing technical standards, regulatory guidance and offshore compliance pathways for autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) operating across international markets.
