Dredger christened as latest member of ABP fleet

UKD Seadragon

Associated British Ports (ABP) division UK Dredging (UKD) has officially named a new Water Injection Dredger (WID) as its latest fleet addition.

UKD Seadragon is a Damen-built Shoalbuster 2711 and was christened in Wales with the traditional Champagne bottle smashing by godmother Rhian Lewis. who spoke about the vessel’s connection to maritime heritage. It is the first vessel to be registered in Cardiff in six years, says ABP.
