Hydrogen on the horizon for new-build Norwegian ferry

Kongsberg Maritime has secured a milestone propulsion contract for Gotlandsbolaget’s new-build hydrogen-ready ferry Horizon X.
The Norway-based supplier will deliver its brand new S-4L waterjet propulsion systems for the ferry, which will operate the high-traffic Gotland to mainland Sweden route, where speed, reliability and rapid turnaround is critical.
